stay healthy, stay true
stay baby, baby blue
stay hard to find
if they're after you
stay a while longer
i'd like to see you too
today i finished the journal i started almost exactly a year ago. i've written so much in it, so much i'm still proud of. it is very much an extension of myself, moreso than any other book i've kept. i'm going to scan a few of the drawings i like from it later. i'm so excited to be starting a new book though, this february has been a surprising gift of early spring, and so many exciting things are starting and growing; it feels right to be starting a new journal.
the 16th was the lunar new year, celebrated in most all eastern countries. "the year of the tiger, the third in the 12-year cycle of the chinese zodiac, represents year 4708 on the calendar used by asian countries." isn't it wild the difference between the western and eastern calendar? we're like 3000 years behind china (but what else is new)
